First up on Week 1: A delicious and easy build-your-own ramen dinner.

Hello, wonderful Homeschool Culinary Arts readers! I’m back from a hiatus spent caught up in other projects, but eager to get back to this one, the nearest and dearest to my heart.

Which is why I’m so excited to announce the new Homeschool Culinary Arts Friday-Afternoon Supper Club!

For the next six weeks, I’ll be offering paid subscribers menus and short cooking videos to give young cooks everything they need to whip up a delicious dinner all by themselves to delight their families each Friday night (or any time of the week). I will post menus on Wednesday evenings, to give people time to gather ingredients, and a short cooking video mid-day Friday to go over key points of the recipes and set everyone up for success for their star turn as the family chef on Friday evening or whenever else. I’m also happy to answer individual questions via the newsletter comments. I’ll be covering all sorts of fundamental culinary techniques as we whip up all sorts of recipes, with the goal of giving young chefs the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to take charge in the kitchen.

We are going to ease into this on Week 1, by transforming a few humble little cubes of dried ramen noodles into something quite special, with the help of a few simple but inspired add-ons.

Hope you and your kids will join me on this journey! The thing I love most about cooking is showing other people how to do it. Subscribers can access this week’s Supper Club recipes below, and will receive a link mid-day Friday for a short cooking-lesson video going over important points about preparing this meal.

Looking forward to the fun and informative—not to mention delicious—six weeks ahead!

Happy cooking!

Sincerely,

Camela Zarcone
